Services
Provided
- Attractively served meals and snacks are prepared under the
direct supervision of a consultant dietician and a full time food
supervisor.
- Round the clock nursing care is provided by the Sisters on the
women’s unit and the male nurses on the men’s unit.
- A physician visits all residents at least once a week to assess
their needs and update progress notes and orders. The physician
is on call twenty-four hours a day.
- A pharmacist provides all medications as ordered by the attending
physicians.
- Whirlpool baths, oxygen machines, wheelchairs, walkers, lifts
and other medical devices are provided as needed.
- The Activity Director and volunteers provide a planned program
of diverse recreational activities. Each resident has a bedside
TV with access to closed circuit viewing of Chapel services ,
movies, etc.
- The Home has a large lounge on each floor where residents may
visit with family and friends. There is also a patio as well as
spacious grounds which permit sitting or strolling outdoors in
the warmer weather.
- There is a VCR on each floor with a large selection of videos
available for the enjoyment of the residents. A book cart is brought
around and new selections are provided periodically by the St.
Paul Public Library.
- Personal laundry is done in the facility.
- Pastoral care provided by the House Chaplain or clergy of choice.
- Grief Support group provided for patient and families.
- Podiatry care as needed.
- Beauty Salon & Barber services.
